Poole Grammar School Parent Staff Association exists to support the school by promoting cooperation between parents and
staff and by raising funds towards a 'wish list' provided by the Heads of Department. All parents, guardians and members
of staff are automatically members.
Over the last few years, our main fundraising efforts have been involved with replacing the school minibuses. A substantial
amount was raised by last year's Prize Draw. We have also helped with the recent refurbishment of the Sixth Form Common Room
by the purchase of a plasma television. The current 'wish list' includes items for the Music and Drama Departments and for
the gym.
We try to hold at least one PSA event per term as well as supporting the school staff with refreshments at parents'
evenings etc. We help with the catering for the Entrance Test Day, run the bar for the Old Grammarians' annual dinner
and host a barbecue during Sports Day afternoon. Other events include Open Evenings for parents of the new school intake,
Family Quiz Nights, Murder Mystery Evenings (with the help of the Drama Department) and Musical American Suppers in
conjunction with the Music Department's Big Band.
Our events are publicised over the course of the year by stickers in the School Diaries and by flyers so please check
this website or keep digging in those school bags!
We hold a stock of second-hand uniform - please contact us about this via the School Office.

We also keep a list of 'Willing Volunteers' who are able to help on an occasional basis.
