The change from KS3 to KS4 was sudden. One minute you’re flying above the rest, then you are one in the crowd. John Year 10 (Mathematics) |

Art is fabulous and I find I have plenty of fun, develop my own style and a way of working that helps in other subjects. Alasdair Year 12 (Art) |

Overall I think sport at Poole Grammar School is very good. It offers a range of sports and has extra-curricular activities for most sports. Specialists coaches come into school to deliver sessions and help to offer more activities. The facilities are very good, especially cricket, with excellent wickets. Harry Year 9 (Physical Education) |

This is the kind of maths I like. Lots of algebra and Pythagoras. I am good at this. Jack Year 8 (Mathematics) |

Physics is one of my favourite lessons on our timetable. It is very factual and informative. I think that it is a subject that enables us to know all of the different aspects of the science, which includes practicals and the write-ups. (Physics) |

Our experience of RP has been that of an extremely compelling course resulting in an enlightened perspective on worldwide religion, but also upon philosophy and general ethical values. RS has provided an epistemological view of life, and has advanced our ability to debate and inquire over issues. Buddhist aspects of the course have particularly advanced knowledge of other religions, as well as bringing into play an entire different angle of looking at life. Peter & Will Year 11 (Religion & Philosophy) |

Having obviously never encountered psychology before, I was a little unsure of what it involved, although it sounded interesting.
Now, after studying the subject for a year, I could only recommend it. The lessons are interesting and varied whilst also extremely informative. You end up considering concepts that you never thought about before and the subject provides interesting insights into human behaviour.
One of the best things about psychology is the teacher, Mr Meredith who is the best teacher in the a school (I didn’t add this in honest!, says Mr Meredith) although he supports Chelsea
Seriously, I would recommend psychology, although contrary to rumours, it does involve a fair amount of work and although rewarding, is certainly not easy. Charlie Year 12 (Psychology) |

Maths in the top set is interesting when we are learning something new but it can get boring if we have to do hundreds of similar questions. I like vectors because they are more impressive than they look. Philip Year 10 (Mathematics) |

Computing has a relaxed atmosphere whilst still maintaining a high work ethic. Computing allows students to expand their knowledge in a subject which all new age pupils share an interest in. James Year 12 (ICT) |

Its pretty good, a lot better than my old school, the computers are more advanced & we are taught to use programmes further. Chris Year 8 (ICT) |
