We have been involved in working in partnership with the University of Exeter to train PGCE trainees for many years and usually offer placements for up to six people each placement. The PGCE course runs from September to July with the first placement at the university and then two other placements in schools in terms two and three.

Although the placements are short  the trainees bring an enthusiasm and youthful energy to the school which is uplifting and contributes to the ethos of the school.

We look forward to continuing this partnership when the Schools Direct programme is introduced in September 2013.
